the SYSTEM - pre-race

Preregistration (online) contains a number of elements that address common "bumps" found at track. A printable Minor Waiver form and instructions/links to contact SCCA member services for credentials issues (ask them to fax before the race) are linked to the entry area. Late fees are substantial ($100 +) for "at-track" (late) entries. The late entry window is not opened until the initial preregistered "rush" has been processed. Schedule "late entries" an hour later than "registration opens" in the Supps. A big part of system implementation is having a pre-race phone contact that enthusiastically (and patiently) nudges folks to register themselves online!

The usual supplies and materials must be planned and procured as usual. Items specific to this system include:

Tech Passes: event colored ticket confirming that a single car is authorized to proceed to tech for check-in
	Crew Tickets event colored ticket authorizing the holder to sign in as "crew"
Signature Logs three sets (different colors - driver/entrant, crew, workers) of pressboard classification folders for waiver and statement forms (standard folders available at office supply stores - e.g. Globe-Weis UPC 61020 # PU561 at OfficeMax)

load up and travel

Yes, this is everything necessary for at track registration including laptops, printer, supplies, etc. This is the actual load that was used at the 2004 Atlanta Labor Day event.
